Using fluorescent colors to highlight that the subject is in the spirit realm, he dabs a hint of white to suggest the usage of cocaine. Although late in life, Rick James was portrayed as a comedic character in Dave Chappelle Show through Charly Murphy's hilarious personal accounts, there's still a bit of melancholy present in his portrayal of the fallen funk pioneer.
